With extensive focus on Fetal Bovine Serum in the biotech/life sciences industry since 2004, Tom is redefining the relationship between suppliers and their customers. Incorporating his previous experience as a minority owner and executive in a serum company, owner of a raw materials collection company, and manager of a global sales team, Tom established Peak Serum to offer a specialized buying experience that focuses on the customer.

Tom’s career in entrepreneurship began at a young age and was sparked by his passion for sports and the outdoors, he developed a product geared toward the extreme sports market and received three U.S. patents as a result. After graduating from Colorado State University (CSU) with a degree in Business Marketing, Tom became actively involved in all aspects of Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) production, business development, marketing, distribution and global sales.

Despite the obvious challenges of competing with multinational corporations, Tom has successfully grown Peak Serum within various market segments and introduced new innovative products mainly due to his understanding that customers are unique individuals. His solution-based approach and adaptation provides a better understanding from all aspects of market conditions/trends including blood collection, raw serum costs, custom manufacturing, documentation, product quality, global distribution and current market pricing.

Tom enjoys spending time with his family (Wife: Carla, Son: Cameron, Daughter: Charlotte), traveling, fly fishing, triathlons, exploring the outdoors, coaching and being active in the community.
