The differentiation assays are finicky about the serum we use and our findings indicate that Peak Serum’s US Origin FBS (PS-FB1) can be used in conjunction with osteogenic and osteoclastic cytokines for differentiation and maturation assays respectively.

We tested both adipose derived MSC’s from mouse strains, one C57Bl/6 and one Luciferase transgenic mouse. Both cell lines did better with Peak Serum’s US OriginFBS, (PS-FB1) than Hyclone or Gibco.
